Technical Drawing Program
- Walls sections are drawings at scales of 1/4"=1'-0"
to 1"=1'-0" that show the builder and tradesmen how
the interior and exterior walls of a building are constructed.
- The names of components, the component's material and size,
and the height location dimensions are shown on a wall section.
- The number of section views depends on the complexity of
the building, number of levels, changes in materials and methods
of construction.
- Wall sections are located using a line that is perpendicular
to and extending through a wall with an arrow parallel to the
wall on one end and a split circle on the other end. The circle
includes a reference letter or number and a page number.

- Construction details are partial section views of every part
of a building andare drawn at scales of 1/2"=1'-0"
to 3"=1'-0".
- The names of components, the component's material and size,
and all locational dimensions are shown on a a construction detail.
- The number of construction details depends on the complexity
of the building, number of levels, changes in materials and methods
of construction.
- Each detail is identified by title, scale and a split circle
that includes a reference letter or number and a page number.
