LETTERING GUIDE

 

 Used to draw uniformily spaced guide lines for freehand lettering.

  • The row of holes along the left edge will provide 1/8" spaced guide lines.
  • The center row of holes on the circular portion will provide 1/16" spaced guide lines when the "4" is aligned with the mark next to the word "AMES".
  • The numbers "10" thru "2" represent 64th of an inch.
  • The left and right rows of holes on the circular portion are for drawing guide lines for titles using 3/5ths and 2/3rds of the normal letter size.
  • The "check mark" is symbol for indicating the "Finish" of a machined surface.
  • Some "Lettering Guides" also have metric spacing values.
