S.P.I.N.S. (Stevenson Patriots in New Situations)

General Information		S.P.I.N.S. will provide opportunities to help students new to our community meet each other and feel more comfortable in their new surroundings. Club members will provide transfer students with a source of companionship and support. The following year, transfer students will have an opportunity to take a leadership role in helping other new students. This club will encourage active participation in the many other clubs and activities available at Stevenson High School and in the community. Guest speakers from other clubs will be invited to address S.P.I.N.S. throughout the year.
Eligibility Requirements		Students who transfer to Stevenson High School from other schools, communities, or foreign countries.
Joining Procedure		Students may choose to sign up during transfer orientation or at any time during the school year.
Time Commitment		Club activities will include a new student breakfast before the beginning of each semester.  Other activities include bowling, miniature golf, luncheons and pizza parties, laser tag,  and many more.  Members of the club will be available throughout the year to help transfer students find their classes and serve as student guides. September - May.
Meets		Once a month on Fridays after school.
