| General Information | The club spends September through February preparing to compete in the regional Science Olympiad in an attempt to advance to State and National competitions. Events range from laboratory work to exams to Internet data gathering to unusual devices that are created for each year's unique events. All events are tied to some aspect of science, be it physics, chemistry, biology, cartography, geology, or a host of other subjects. | |
| Eligibility Requirements | Team
members may not become academically ineligible. If team members
fails to maintain academic eligibility for 2 weeks in a row, or 3 times
in the entire season, they will be cut from the team. For
additional requirements see Dr. Carnazzola. |

| Joining Procedure | Sign-up is in the fall of each new school year. | |
| Time Commitment | 1-1/2 hours per
week from September through February or until the regional competition.
There is a large additional time requirement necessary to build
equipment and prepare for exams and events. September - May. |
