GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE CLUB:

S.A.V.E. members will be involved in educational, recreational, and fundraising activities. Students will help in planning Earth Day events and attend field trips. Students may also take part in volunteer projects in the area: prairies, woodlands, and wetlands restoration, wildlife monitoring projects and workshops.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Students need an interest in environmental issues and nature.

Joining Procedure:

• Students may become members by attending any meeting.

Time Commitment:

• Wednesday, after school, in Room 1616.
• Extra time spent in April in preparation for Earth Day.
• Weekend outings and work days are optional.

Activity Time Period:

• Throughout the school year, with opportunity for optional volunteer work outdoors in the summer.
