History Fair Club

General Information		The History Fair provides students with the opportunity to do original research on historical topics.  Entrants will be eligible to participate in the National History Day competition which provides cash, prizes,  and scholarships at the Metro, State, and National levels.
Eligibility Requirements		None.
Joining Procedure		Any student may participate merely by notifying their social studies teacher.
Time Commitment		1/2 hour every other week.  For the History Fair, students will spend between 10 to 40 hours doing original research and preparing their projects.  The time commitment for other contests will vary.
Meets		Thursdays after school in Room 2300
