Student Aide Program

What the student aides do for us

The library uses student aides to help support in the everyday operation of the library. Aides can assist at the circulation desk, help with the filing and sorting of materials, photocopy, assist with computers and other equipment, plus help with displays and other special tasks.The library student aide provides valuable support to the SHS library, as well as to the teachers and students.

What we do for the student aides

Aides receive a $75 stipend per semester, as well as a few perks, such as free photocopying. Besides the valuable work experience, good workers can expect to receive a bonus and a good recommendation for future employment. Working in the library can enhance your knowledge of using computers and information technology.

How to apply

New workers are only accepted within the first few weeks of each new semester. If you are interested in applying, please see Mrs. Cornille in the library.
