Reading Lists:

The following links provide recommended reading lists from a variety of sources.

• ALA Recommended Reading These are recommended book lists for children, young adults and adults from the American Library Association.
  
  
• YALSA booklists The Young Adult Library Services Association, a division of the American Library Association provides a number of reading lists, including the Alex Awards, Yalsa's Best Books for Young Adults, the Michael L. Printz Awards, the Margaret A. Edwards Awards, books for the college bound, reluctant readers, paperbacks, audiobooks and much more.
  
  
• Vandergrift's 100 This is a list of the top 100 books for teens which is updated regularly and includes titles in many genres.
  
  
• National Book Foundation This organization, famous for its National Book Award, provides a list of award winners if you click on "National Book Awards" and a number of good recommended reading lists under "National Book Month".
  
  
• Pulitzer Prizes This site archives all Pulitzer Prize winners for every catagory back to 1917, plus gives a history of the prize and of Joseph Pulitzer.
  
  
• Nobel Prize for Literature This site lists authors who have won the Nobel Prize for Literature for each year, and provides a biobibliography and other information on each author.
  
  
• Abraham Lincoln Award Books This site from ISLMA, provides a description of the Illinois Abraham Lincoln High School Book Award and a list of the current nominated books. All of these books are available in the Stevenson Library.
  
  
• Guys Read An excellent web site which help visitors to find find books that would interest boys and adult males. Searchable by subject, author or title, and provides lists of favorite books.

Best Sellers:

To find out what is on the current best seller's list, click below to go to the New York Times Book Reviews and Best Seller List or the USA Today Best Sellers List, which is updated weekly.

Book Reviews and Vendors:

If you want another review or opinion on a book, try Amazon or Barnes and Noble. These links will give you information about millions of books. They also sell books if you see any you would like to buy.
